Saint John the Russian

An interesting 4x4 route from Xirokampos is to climb to the top of Skoubardas hill to its SW. The total distance is approximately six (6) kilometers and along the way we will pass by chapels, quarries, antennas, fortification tunnels and most importantly we will enjoy an extensive and beautiful view to all points of the horizon. Here is the second chapel after Agios Raphael, in honor of Agios Ioannis the Russian built in 1968.
