Saint Raphael

From the beach of Agios Spyridon we follow the road west, we pass by Agios Efstratios and we start an off-road route around the hill of Patela. At the top of the hill are the ruins of the legendary Patela battery with the unique aerophone (we will meet it on a separate route). The route passes through remote places, a difficult-to-reach beach, the chapels of Ypapanti, Prophet Elias and Saint Raphael, while with a small detour to the NW we visit the Holy Monastery of the Holy Angels and Saint Peter. Here is the church of Saint Raphael, a hundred meters below Prophet Elias. Between them the dirt road goes NW which in 800 meters ends at the Holy Monastery of the Holy Angels and Saint Peter.
