Whether you sit by the sea or in the cool courtyard, you will enjoy the creative dishes and friendly service. The white elegance blends with a marine décor as well as the flowers and the old well in the courtyard. From your table, you will have views of the harbor and the sailboats in the marina.

The menu at the Fish Tavern tis Kalis includes several selected dishes, with fish and seafood predominant. The taverna works exclusively with local fishing boats which deliver the catch of the day every morning; chef Konstantinos Papachristodoulou takes over from there. The customer can see and select the fish before the weighing and ordering. The options change depending on the season and the catch, but they usually include red porgy, white sea bream, red mullet, white grouper, and common dentex, as well as other fish. Instead of fish, you can also choose from seafood dishes such as Symian shrimp, steamed mussels, grilled calamari (squid), or seafood paella.

The special dishes at tis Kalis are exceptional: creative recipes executed with mastery and only natural ingredients. Especially noteworthy are the sea bass with beetroot jam and seasonal greens, the sautéed red mullet with chickpeas from Grevena, and the pork tenderloin with celery sauce and mashed potatoes with basil and mastic from Chios. Also delicious is the pasta with lobster for two that comes in a skillet, in a large portion and at an affordable price.

Don’t miss the salads and appetizers prepared in the fish tavern’s kitchen. All the appetizers are handmade, some using our own homemade phyllo dough, such as little shrimp-leek pies with a sauce made of sour cherries and grape syrup. Also try the cheese loukoumades (doughnuts) with honey and sesame seeds, the green salad with caramelized figs, manouri cheese and red wine dressing, and the salad with walnuts, katiki cheese from Domokos, and basil dressing.

The up-to-date wine list guarantees that you will find a wonderful wine to complement your meal.
