Frangoklisia - Panteli Castle

In the center of the castle of Panteion we will find a shed church, the Fragoklesia. To the right of its sanctuary is the coat of arms of the commander of the islands of Kalymnos, Kos, Nisyros and Leros in 1430, Fantino Querini (1436-1453), a knight of the Order of the Hospitallers. In total, in the castle, apart from the church of Panagia and the Fragoklesia, there are four other churches, three of which date from the period of knighthood, and one, the single-aisled Agia Triada frescoed in the 15th century, which belongs to the Middle Byzantine period.
