The chapel of Agia Matrona or Kiouria (a corruption of Kyra) can be found 1200 meters north of Partheni. An 18th-century building built on the ruins of an older church, it has been designated a listed building since 1982. It stands out, among other things, because its iconography was painted by prisoners of the Partheni camp during the dictatorship in 1968.
