Xirokampos

coastal settlement, the southernmost of the island, opposite Kalymnos. It is located below the old castle of Lepida with its Panagia, which is worth visiting, as is Panagitsa Kavouradena at the NE end of the bay. Xirokampos has one of the largest beaches on the island, with fine pebbles, quiet, shallow and protected and with natural shade (and lots of seaweed on the seabed). Above the beach you will find taverns, bars and rooms for accommodation.
