The impressive church of Agios Ioannis Theologos (celebrated on 26/9), is located on the outskirts of Lakki and is one of the oldest and most important churches on the island (a 13th-century mid-Byzantine basilica without frescoes). The monument was restored to its current form after excavation research was carried out.
