The chapel of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) Portaitissa is part of the Monastery of the Prophet Elias (Profitis Ilias). This is the cell where the Elder Gabriel lived as a monk before leaving for Mount Athos. It was converted into a chapel by the Fathers of the monastery in 2004.
