The Sacred Parish Chapel of the Virgin Mary Theoskepasti, the God-covered Virgin (Panagia tis Theoskepastis), or the Assembly of the Blessed Virgin, is located on the western edge of Skaros Rock in Imerovigli. With a unique view of the caldera and the Aegean Sea, it is the only building that exists today on Skaros Rock. Its incomparable beauty inspired Elias Venezis to write a story dedicated to the little church!
