A point of reference on the southern side of Anafi is the estate with the doctor's house. (This is a well-known heart surgeon who decided to build his house here.) The house is on a hill above the sea, Flamourou Beach is below it. The western end of the beach ends at a pier with an interesting stone column built on it.
