The community of Psofida belongs to the Municipal District of Aroania and is made up of Ano Tripotama, Ano Psofida, Vasiliki, Kato Tripotama, Tripotama and Psofida. The seat of the community is Tripotama (on the minor road D111), built at the point of three rivers converging, the Erymanthos, Aroanios and Seiraios that subsequently join together to form the River Mount Erymanthos. Remains of the ancient town and acropolis of Psofida have been found in this area.
