Below the church of the Transfiguration of the Savior (Metamorfosis tou Sotiros), about one kilometer west of the settlement’s port on the coastal road, we will find the quiet little Christos (Christ) Beach and a pier that provides access to the sea, allowing us to avoid the rocks on the beach. From Christos Beach, the coastal road continues for another 700 meters, ending at Elena Beach on the southwestern edge of the bay of Lipsi.
