Aegean Maritime Museum

Open since 1985, the Aegean Maritime Museum is housed in a traditional 19th century Cycladic building. Its goal is to preserve and promote the Greek maritime tradition. Exhibits include model ships, historic shipping documents, ancient objects, engravings and maps, naval instruments, and coins with nautical themes. In the museum garden we will see marble copies of tombstones and the restored Armenistis Lighthouse of Mykonos.
