After descending the Koutoupou ravine to the right (150 meters after the Loulougas Stream) and heading toward the gorge of Zarmpanitsa, we can approach the little Byzantine Castle of Zangoli with an arduous climb up the cliff above the left bank. Beside it, we will also see the small church of the Virgin Mary of Zangoli.



Location

The little Byzantine Castle of Zangoli and the country church of the Virgin Mary of Zangoli that stands beside it are located high up on the cliff of the left bank of the gorge of Zarmpanitsa (230 meters after the Loulougas Stream)—on our left, that is, if we are descending from Kastanitsa toward the church of Saint Andrew.
