Water Collection Reservoirs

On most Greek islands, water is scarce. Before developing water treatment methods (with desalination systems, pumping, etc.) or complex reservoir structures, their residents tried various methods of collecting water. In Agathonisi there are many examples of this, such as concrete reservoirs with slopes that allow for the collection and storage of rainwater.
