A small shrine in memory of the German occupation. We can see the shrine on the way to the beach of Vithisma in Marpounda. At this point, in 1944, it is said that Georgios Tzoumas, son of Andreas, fell off the cliff while being hunted by the Germans, and was rescued by saints.
