One of the most sheltered natural bays in northern Greece, Koufos or Porto Koufo, as it is better known, is a picturesque fishing village. The shape of the large, deep bay makes it a safe haven for boats, and fishing is a well developed vocation in the settlement. All the tavernas in this seaside village offer fresh fish and seafood.
