Paths in Vatika

The area of Vatika in the Municipal Unit of Voies has a well developed network of trails. The transitions between mountainous, semi-mountainous, and marine areas, as well as the relatively short distances between the villages and the many points of interest in the area, create an ideal hiking network for exploration. Some of the trails can be traveled by vehicle and are accessible via relatively passable dirt roads, thus shortening the route. The most beautiful path, in our opinion, is the trail to the monasteries of Cape Maleas, Saint Irene (Agia Eirini) and Saint George (Agios Georgios). The trails are marked with red markers, each has a code (Δn) and indications of distance and average hiking time.
