On Tripoli-Megalopoli road, in the long,straight stretch to Megalopoli,we can see right on a small hill, the Virgin Mary Convent of Makrysio. Its catholic was built in 1883,(noteworthy altar screen),and dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary.
