This island combines a great deal, with the most important being its numerous wonderful sandy beaches, very beautiful villages, each with its own distinct character, antiquities scattered across the island, geological sights, industrial history, a large network of footpaths that cross much of the island, and many accommodations, restaurants, and entertainment spots.
