This was a wonderful hotel, luxury rooms, perfect service, my whole family loved it. Nearby was an open-air disco, as I was a teenager, we, the teens in the hotel, went dancing there every night, and swam in the ocean every day. There were sea-urchins on the rocks, and when we stepped on them, we had their bristles like thorns in our heels, but the Greeks told us to rub olive oil on them, and then they would come out on their own in a few weeks, instead of prying them out painfully with a needle and tweezers. I loved Spetses and the hotel, my holidays were one the best.

This was a wonderful beach beneath a wonderful hotel, I was there as a teenager, I have never forgotten my stay on Spetses in the Xenia hotel. I want to have a holiday there soon.
