Path by the Old Iron Mines

One of the most interesting ways to get to know the mining history of the island is to walk around the peninsula at Skouries with the old iron mines, south of Zogaki. If we walk around the perimeter of the peninsula, the total distance does not exceed 1.6 kilometers. On the way we will see the huge holes and galleries of the mines (so we must be careful). In the southern part of the peninsula, we can find one of the island's most isolated beaches, the small, sandy Sifnio Beach.
