We can reach the Monastery of Makellaria in two ways (both on dirt roads, but very beautiful routes). One starts at the village of Petsakoi, running alongside the Selinountas River, while the other follows the road from Neochori to Megalos Pontias and turns right at this point, continuing on a beautiful 8 kilometer route through the lovely forest of Kaniska.
