The little church of Saint George (Agios Georgios, or Piso Eh-Giorgis) is an important Byzantine ecclesiastical monument from the 13th century with remarkable frescoes. Next to the single-aisled church, there are ruins of three older churches belonging to a former monastery. It is all located in a beautiful natural landscape with dense vegetation in the forest of Vavyla.
