Virtually the entire coastal area from Pounta to Neapoli (about 7 km) is a huge, extensive sandy beach. Here, on the eastern side of Pounta, behind the Strongyli Lagoon (Round Lagoon), is the beginning of the beautiful, solitary sandy beach Chamokela.
