A beautiful settlement with many springs and greenery. There are remnants of the foundations and masonry of Turkish towers in the village. The village church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos), and the miraculous little church of Saint (Agia) Paraskevi stands just outside the settlement.
