Saint George

The central church of Glastra is Saint George (Agios Giorgios, or I-Giorgi). It is very old, although signs of a later extension became visible when the courtyard area of the church was created using stones from the region. An icon of the Virgin Mary with a she-wolf is safeguarded here.
