On the summit of Mount Lykaion, east of the altar and beside today's small church of Profitis Ilias (Elias), rise 2 columns on which there used to be 2 gilded eagles, the symbols of Zeus. Secret sacrifices were carried out to Zeus Lykaios at this altar.
