Davia, seat of Falanthos Muncipality, consists of 2 small villages (Ano and Kato, or Upper and Lower). The area is famous for watermills burned by Kolokotronis in 1825 to cut off the food supply of Ibrahim. The Medieval town of Tavia was behind Davia.
