One of the most historic regions of our country, mainly in terms of its modern history, but also as a place rich in tradition and natural beauty. The Municipality of Kalavryta, the administrative continuity of the Kalavryta Province, is one of the largest municipalities in Greece in terms of number of villages. It is comprised of 130 beautiful villages, mostly in the mountains, that once buzzed with life. Unfortunately, several of them are almost deserted today, leaving Kalavryta one of the most sparsely populated municipalities in Achaea.

In the pages of EG, we have tried to bring you as many images and experiences of this land as we could, recording more than 1,400 points of interest. Let this, then, help us start to get to know these places as visitors in order to reinvigorate them, even temporarily, with the life the few residents left in them need so much.
