Cape Agios Stefanos

The northernmost point of Kastellorizo is the cape of Agios Stefanos with its lighthouse and the small church of the same name welcoming us first as we enter the bay of the island's port. The small church and the lighthouse are accessible by a relatively easy path (1,200 meters, 45 minutes) that starts at the western end of the port, behind the Megisti Hotel. The path runs along the eastern side of the bay and at an altitude of 40 - 80 meters. At the point where the path ends, it meets the dirt road that ends 500 meters later at the chapel of Agios Stefanos and from there a 200-meter path leads us to the cape of the same name with the lighthouse.
