The Monastery of Saint Panteleimon is located opposite Paleokastro. It is a monastic fortress complex of the mid-Byzantine period. The church is single-nave, with a wooden iconostasis. A few meters east of the old monastery we will find a small picturesque chapel of Saint George, Ftochoulaki.
