Megisti Castle

The Castle of Megisti dominates the top of the red rock of the settlement. The red castle, which gave the name to the island, was built by the Knights of St. John of Rhodes in the 14th century. Today, a small part of it, the castle tower, is preserved. The visit is relaxing and we can climb from various points of the hill. The view from above is very beautiful to all points of the horizon.
