The largest open sandy beach on the island is located in the southwest, below the hill of the Prophet Elias (Profitis Ilias) with its wind park, and across from the islet of Agio Nikolakis. The beach continues north up to the Archontiki area with its archaeological site, across from Daskalio Islet.
