Vrysitsa

Vrysitsa Beach is located in the southwestern part of the island, north of Chora (Alonissos). We can reach it via a 1,500 meter dirt road that starts right after the threshing floors. The last 150 meters of the road are not in good condition, so caution is required. The beach is quiet, with dark sand and pebbles, but it is also quite neglected and not so clean. A path that starts under Villa Alonia in Chora also leads to the beach, but the first part of it is inaccessible (as it is not used frequently and has been overgrown with vegetation in some places). That path proceeds for about 500 meters before meeting the dirt road that comes from Chora, which then takes us to the beach in another 300 meters.
