To a Hidden Beach

A cove with a small pebbly beach surrounded by rocks at the southeastern end of the island, between Plakes and Marpounda. To find the path that leads to this picturesque, well hidden beach, take the road from Patitiri to Marpounda. 600 meters before Marpounda, look to the left for the beginning of a path. The distinct little path starts from an opening in a stone wall near the road and takes us to the beach in five minutes. In the end, to make your overall experience more interesting, there is a knotted rope to help you climb down the rocks to the beach (and ascend, when you return).
