Volcano Monitoring Instruments

On the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, there is a volcanic observatory that operates under the responsibility of the Institute for the Study and Monitoring of the Santorini Volcano (ISMOSAV). Its role is to constantly monitor the volcano with a series of instrument networks (seismic, deformation of the relief, geophysical, geochemical, etc.). The recordings made so far show that the volcano continues to be at rest.
