In Kaparies, Pano Chorio (the Upper Village) in the settlement of Akrotiri, we find the church of Saint Nicholas the Lily (Agios Nikolaos o Krinos), so named because lilies grow in the area. A bit above it, we find the church of Saint Nicholas the Orphan (Agios Nikolaos o Orfanos), called "the Orphan" because the church is very small.
