Saint George

Following the road from Pyrgos to Exo Gonia, we will see on our left a sign for tourist accommodation and a sign for a dead end. Going down the road, we enter the valley of Messaria. The road continues, paved but narrow. One of the first buildings we encounter is the small country church of Saint George (Agios Georgios), with its neatly paved open courtyard.
