Inner Square - Stefanu Meleku

The second inner square of Pyrgos as we come from Fira (officially called the square of Stefanos Melekos, mesa platia or platia Stefanu Meleku in Greek). From here, the road continues and then branches off to the left for the monastery of the Prophet Elias and to the right for Emporio. Path One (1) toward the Prophet Elias and Ancient Thera, Path Five (5) toward Episkopi, Mesa, and Exo Gonia, and Path Eight (8) to Vothonas and Messaria all begin at the inner square.
