Water Source

Water source next to the kindergarten of Pyrgos, built in 1920. An interesting inscription is engraved above it: “When you get water here, you must mention Markos Lambros Denaxas. God didn’t give him any children to call him father, and thus he left this water source instead of a daughter. Everybody who passes and feels thirsty can enjoy its fresh water while mentioning his name.”
