'To the School''s Observatory from the Theater'

Impressive outdoor theater built in the style of an ancient theater, amidst a pine forest above Scholes. Many of the cultural events of the island take place at this site. A fairly steep dirt road leads from Scholes to the theater. From the theater, a sometimes steep uphill path continues, ending in less than 15 minutes at the now abandoned Anargyrios School observatory, which dominates the landscape at 150 meters above sea level--a spot with very beautiful views of the surroundings.
