Pachia Ammos, or Pahia Ammos, which means 'thick sand,' is an organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds, sand, and pebbles on the northern edge of Marathias, before Panaritis. Behind the beach, after the dirt road, there is a well-built basketball court.
