The most famous beach in Serifos is a short distance from Livadi and is accessible by paved road. It will take about 10 minutes (with a vehicle) to reach the blue water and fine, powdery sand of Psili 'mmos, or Psili Ammos (Fine Sand) Beach. In the past, Psili Ammos was voted the most beautiful beach in Europe (at the top of a list of the 20 loveliest in the Sunday Times in 2003).
