Just outside Valtos, on the right side of the forest road that goes toward Zarelia, we can see the little Church of Saint George (Agios Giorgios, or I-Giorgi). It was built in 1833 by the captain of the Revolution, Giorgios Kontovounisios. There is a fountain beside the little church that gushes cold water.
